A really wearable piece, that's kind of timeless despite being also very 1980s. It's a really full skirt -- a circle when opened out --gathered onto a 2" waistband, fastened with two hooks and a side zipper. Constructed in a nice matt polyester satin, unlined. All three are Reminiscence by Stewart Richer label, made in USA (one way you can tell they're vintage :) and size L. I wore them sitting on the hip, which works very well.
Measurements: waist 31", length 26"
STORY: As you can tell I love this skirt, which is why I have three. They're by that NYC classic party and vintage store that's been here since the Seventies and --miracle in the age of ridiculous retail rent! --still going strong. I thought I ought to get something more feminine--at the time I was in rocker punk boy mode.
