We love this collection of pieces from the amazing Helen Byrkett's closet. Helen was, as you can see, a biker, long before it was particularly acceptable for ladies to wear leathers, let alone qualify for BMW’s 100,000 mile club, as she did. We have her perfect, perfectly worn-in set of leathers, custom made for her by the famous Bate’s of California. We also have about a dozen adorable 1950s-1970s dancing dresses, most of which are beautifully handmade, because Helen was also a competitive square dancer —and expert dressmaker.
