This is a cunningly draped exquisite gold lame gown by the inimitable Arnold Scaasi, asymmetrically gathered into the left side and with a demure yet sexy slit. It does up by concealed zipper on the right side. Unfortunately the label's no longer attached, but I can vouch for its provenance! It was forged in the 1990s.
STORY: Unlike most of my Scaasis, this glamorous dress is Ready to Wear, rather than Couture. I was photographed for Vogue and WWD in this confection. It is very GILDA: sexy, alluring, and yet elegant. I had so much fun wearing it, and I hope you will too! xxx Nina
