FROM ALISON ATTENBOROUGH'S CLOSET
A real Helmut, designed by the man himself in the 1990s, minimalist tank dress with smashing detail. There are punky Mad Max-y pieces sewn on, best that you just look at the pictures because it's hard to describe. This is a top quality stretch jersey --it could be rayon, or it could be cotton/silk I'm afraid the fabric tag is missing. The deep U-neck and the hem are unfinished and rolled; the armholes are hemmed. Officially a 44 but runs a bit small. Made in Italy.
Measurements: Bust 34" Length 38"
STORY: If you look in my closet you get the picture: I heart Helmut. This is one I picked up and held onto for years but never wore once. You can see why I wanted her: throw it on and you're done, effortless. But on me: doesn't work.
