The Shows (when LFW was young)

I'm a fly on the wall at British Fashion Week 

"'And it's a serious business indeed... now providing a much-needed showcase for our home-grown talent. However, there is one small snag. It costs maybe £10,000* to produce a small sample collection; £11,000 to hire a stand in the exhibition area and at least £12,000 to show your stuff on the catwalk."

This is quaint because of course now we all have front row seats at every Fashion Week in the (increasingly bloated) calendar. And the Shows are... just the same.
