This is the most intense color you have ever seen: either deep fuchsia or possibly purple, as some people seem to see it, in a magnificent heavy smooth silk satin. The jacket has exaggerated details: a dropped shoulder, very oversized lapel, dropping down low, and large slanted pockets. The sleeves are also extra long and cuffed. It is from the late-1980s, yet it's also timeless, and can jazz up any old boring LBD in one second. No size listed but it's truly One Size Fits All.
STORY: I loved the designs of John Paul Gibson, the designing half of this San Francisco duo that operated from 1979 to 1995--and I was very saddened by news of his untimely death at 44 when he was hit by a car outside his apartment.
