This may be the most unusual bag I've ever seen, from Bottega Veneta or anyone. I want to call it a bowling bag on account of it being a bit like a slice of a bowling ball, but of course that's something else. It is in the smoothest olive green calfskin, constructed in three sections onto a flat back, with a zipper almost all the way around. Lined in cognac suede, there are three interior pockets and a zippered one, which contains a signature pocket mirror in a felt pouch. As with all Bottega pieces, there are no labels, apart from the subtle B in a triangle motif in metal on the outside. I like that in a bag: quiet confidence. There are gentle signs of wear, as seen, but nothing obvious.
