Marie Margaret Rottler, mother of seven, grandmother of nine, and great grandmother of one, Commissioner, Historian and Teacher, was born in St. Louis, MO, and settled in Aurora, Colorado where she campaigned for the preservation of historic buildings.
We are proud to have her collection here on Refashioner, thanks to one of her granddaughters, who noticed that, not only had Marie kept her outfits from all decades pristine, but she had also written notes to remind herself where she had worn them--built-in stories displayed here alongside her clothes. We like to think Marie would have approved.
