FROM ALISON ATTENBOROUGH'S CLOSET
Another piece from the Real 1990s Helmut Lang, a great black label tank top with a subtle but clear difference: a shiny self stripe and crossbar on the left side. The top is 100% cotton so I think that's just a coating, like chintz: best to hand wash it. Made in Italy, size M.
Measurements: Length 26", Bust 36"
STORY: Helmut was famously the designer who taught us to spend a fortune on a tank top. Well, here's why it worked. Haha. But this one is a pristine example since it hugs my worst bits and I never wore it.
