FROM JESSE PARIS SMITH'S CLOSET
Go Disco Diva in this super-wearable Vintage Disco Dress: an off-black shorts all-in-one with a halterneck, made modest (slightly) by the long black chiffon overskirt. It's all in an acetate (90%) Lycra (10%) knit with points of silver all over the body. It's size Small, fits like a 4, or a 2, but may go bigger, if you are bustless, since it's very stretchy. There are 2.5" beltloops where the chiffon starts (though I prefer it beltless). It's pure 1972 in style (the fabric is more mid-80s but I'd still say it's 70s), with a big dose of Bob Fosse, Liza in Cabaret, accessorize with a bowler hat. It's made in New York by Design Team Sports Wear 4-U.
Measurements: halterneck to hem 54", neck to crotch 30", shorts length 2.5", rise 12", skirt length 35", bust 30", hip 34" (all taken without stretching the fabric)
STORY: I do love this, and bought it for stage, but it's not really me. Please take it to parties. Or stages.
