This rare late-1960s cotton print skirt is the best colorway of any Pucci I've ever seen, a gorgeous deep dove gray with swirls of tangerine, ocher and mauve, and a print that is custom to the cut of the skirt, with its edging and its waistband. It fastens with seven substantial snaps to the side with two hook and eyes at the waistband, and there's an 18" slit, which you need because it's pretty narrow. The cotton is smooth and quite substantial, and it was made in Florence Italy--for Lord & Taylor! The size marked is 12 but it's a 4 in today's money. Please note the slight staining shown in the detail, about 10" below the waistband on the back right side. It's not really noticeable when worn, much less obvious than the detail makes it seem, and it will no doubt wash right out--the label specifies hand washing in cold water. But reflected in the price.
Measurements: Waist 27", hip 34", length 41"
STORY: This was a gift from a dear dear friend who is sadly no longer with us. She told me it was quite valuable, but to me it's valuable for her memory. So please wear it with pride for me!
